Psalms 119:145

"Your testimonies are righteous forever. Give me understanding, that I may live. QOPH"

Key Reflection

The verse suggests that God's laws and principles are eternally just and true. The psalmist requests wisdom to understand these divine testimonies, believing that such understanding is essential for spiritual life.

From the Scholars: Barnes' Notes

I cried with my whole heart ... -This commences a new division of the psalm, indicated by the Hebrew letterKoph(קq), answering to our letter “k.” The expression “I cried with my whole heart” means that he did it earnestly, fervently. He had no divided wishes when he prayed. Not always is this so, even with good people.
