Key Reflection

For the ancient Israelites, this instruction in Exodus 12:11 highlighted the importance of thoroughness and obedience during the Passover meal. They were to consume all the roasted lamb meat by morning, leaving no portion for the next day; any remaining parts had to be burnt. This practice underscored the urgency and sacred nature of the feast, ensuring that they fully experienced its protective benefits against the angel of death, as promised by God.
