Matthew 15:21

"These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands doesn’t defile the man.”"

Key Reflection

This verse challenges the Pharisaical emphasis on external cleanliness over internal purity. Jesus asserts that what truly defiles a person comes from within, such as evil intentions and actions (Matthew 15:19), not merely eating with unwashed hands.
