Matthew 13:18

"For most certainly I tell you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which you see, and didn’t see them; and to hear the things which you hear, and didn’t hear them."

Key Reflection

This verse underscores the privilege of the disciples to witness and hear Jesus' teachings firsthand, which many prophets and righteous men yearned for but were denied. It highlights the unique grace and opportunity afforded to those who are present in Christ’s ministry, contrasting their experience with that of those who lived before them yet missed out on these revelations.
