John 19:24

"Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also the tunic. Now the tunic was without seam, woven from the top throughout."

Key Reflection

This verse highlights the cruel and mocking nature of the soldiers' actions, dividing Jesus' clothes among themselves while he hangs on the cross. The seamless tunic symbolizes Christ's perfection and divine origin, contrasting sharply with the soldiers' base motives in their theft.
