Matthew 26:3

"“You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.”"

Key Reflection

Jesus' statement foreshadows his upcoming sacrifice, linking the imminent Passover with his own crucifixion as a fulfillment of prophecy and symbolizing his role as the new Paschal Lamb who will take away the sins of the world. This prediction also highlights the predetermined nature of his death, emphasizing both its inevitability and its salvific purpose.
