Leviticus 13:35

"On the seventh day, the priest shall examine the itch; and behold, if the itch hasn’t spread in the skin, and its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. He shall wash his clothes and be clean."

Key Reflection

This verse highlights the importance of ongoing spiritual examination and cleansing. Just as physical leprosy must be continually monitored to ensure it does not spread, so too must one's spiritual condition be regularly assessed to maintain purity and holiness. Cleansing extends beyond just external actions; it requires both physical ritual (washing clothes) and internal acknowledgment of one’s condition before God.
