Isaiah 59:6
"They hatch adders’ eggs and weave the spider’s web. He who eats of their eggs dies; and that which is crushed breaks out into a viper."
Key Reflection
These verses metaphorically describe the harmful influence of evil counselors, whose plans are as deadly as the adder's venom or the spider’s web. Consuming their counsel leads to spiritual death, illustrating the lethal impact of wicked advice and false teachings.
