Key Reflection

In Isaiah 19:9, the prophet describes a dire economic consequence for Egypt's fishing industry. The people who fished in the Nile and those who used nets to catch fish would lament their losses as a result of divine judgment. This vivid imagery reflects the disruption of daily life and livelihoods, highlighting the impact of God’s wrath on Egypt’s economy and infrastructure.
