In that day shall Egypt be like unto women -Timid; fearful; alarmed. The Hebrews often, by this comparison, express great fear and consternationJeremiah 51:30;Nahum 3:13. Because of the shaking of the hand -The shaking of the hand is an indication of threatening or punishment (note,Isaiah 10:32;Isaiah 11:15).
