Isaiah 10:31

"Cry aloud with your voice, daughter of Gallim! Listen, Laishah! You poor Anathoth!"

Key Reflection

In Isaiah 10:31, the prophet addresses several small towns in the region of Benjamin, including Gallim, Laishah, and Anathoth. These were strategic locations near Jerusalem, significant to the original audience who would have understood these cities as key points along potential invasion routes from the north. The verse instructs them to cry out loudly, likely warning their neighbors about impending judgment or an approaching enemy, emphasizing the urgency and importance of spreading this message throughout the region.
