Numbers 14:20

"Please pardon the iniquity of this people according to the greatness of your loving kindness, and just as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.”"

Key Reflection

This plea asks for divine forgiveness based on God’s immense mercy, invoking His past mercies shown to the Israelites since their exodus from Egypt. Moses seeks to remind God of His faithful and forgiving nature, hoping that this history will influence Him to spare the people despite their repeated failures.
