The widow's offering, however, was meager—just two small brass coins (Greek: κοδράνται, quadrans)—indicating both her poverty and her profound faith. By highlighting this action, Jesus emphasizes that true devotion is not measured by the size of one’s gift but by the heart from which it comes.
