Luke 11:35

"The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light; but when it is evil, your body also is full of darkness."

Key Reflection

In Luke 11:35-36, Jesus uses the metaphor of the eye as the lamp of the body to illustrate how our spiritual perspective shapes our overall outlook on life. A "good" eye allows us to see things rightly and brings light to our entire being, while an "evil" eye produces darkness and misguides us in all we do.
