The Israelites, following Moses' instructions after receiving manna from God, collected their daily share of the divine bread in the morning. By midday, when the heat intensified, any remaining manna would melt and spoil, reinforcing the necessity to gather just enough for each person’s needs as instructed by Moses. This practice underscored the immediate consumption required and the reliance on God's provision rather than storage or hoarding.
