Daniel 7:11

"A fiery stream issued and came out from before him. Thousands of thousands ministered to him. Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The judgment was set. The books were opened."

Key Reflection

This verse vividly portrays the divine majesty and the vast multitude of heavenly beings attending God's judgment. The imagery of a "fiery stream" and countless ministers underscores the transcendent glory and the comprehensive scope of God’s sovereignty, preparing the stage for the solemn act of judgment where all accounts are to be settled.

From the Scholars: Barnes' Notes

I beheld then, because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake -I was attracted by these words - by their arrogance, and haughtiness, and pride; and I saw that it was on account of these mainly that the solemn judgment proceeded against the beast. The attitude of the seer here is this - he heard arrogant and proud words uttered by the “horn,” and he waited in deep attention, and in earnest expectation, to learn what judgment would be pronounced.
