Romans 10:4
"For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn’t subject themselves to the righteousness of God."
Key Reflection
This verse highlights the failure of the Israelites to recognize true righteousness as revealed in God's law and promises, instead attempting to achieve it through their own efforts. Consequently, they missed out on the righteousness that comes solely through faith in God, as exemplified by Abraham.
