Psalms 62:7

"He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken."

Key Reflection

In Psalms 62:7, the psalmist declares that God alone serves as his rock, his source of salvation, and his fortress against life's trials. This declaration reflects a deep trust in God’s unwavering nature and protective power, emphasizing that reliance on anything else would be futile. The imagery of being "not shaken" underscores the stability and security found only in divine steadfastness, a common theme in Psalms that contrasts human frailty with the eternal reliability of God.
