Luke 9:11

"The apostles, when they had returned, told him what things they had done. He took them and withdrew apart to a desert region of a city called Bethsaida."

Key Reflection

After recounting their miraculous feeding of the five thousand, Jesus sought solitude with his apostles to reflect on their experiences and prepare them for greater challenges ahead, drawing them into quietude where they could better understand their roles as future leaders in spreading the gospel.
