Leviticus 26:45

"Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly and to break my covenant with them; for I am the LORD their God."

Key Reflection

When the Israelites find themselves in exile among foreign nations, this verse assures them that despite their sins and the resulting punishment, God's covenant remains unbroken because He is their eternal Lord. For the original audience, this would have been a profound comfort, emphasizing that even as they faced the harsh realities of captivity, the unwavering loyalty and protective nature of God towards His people remained unchanged.
