Joshua 19:21

"Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,"

Key Reflection

Joshua 19:21 lists several city names in the allotment of land to the tribe of Asher, specifically mentioning Rabbith, Kishion, and Ebez. For the original audience, these were specific geographical markers that defined the borders and boundaries of their territory, providing a tangible reference point for locating this region within the broader landscape of Canaan. These city names reflect the detailed administrative divisions of the land as the Israelites settled into their new homeland after the conquest.
