"‘While men come to fight with the Chaldeans, and to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have killed in my anger and in my wrath, and for all whose wickedness I have hidden my face from this city,"

Key Reflection

In these verses, Jeremiah speaks of divine judgment against the Chaldeans, portraying God as one who brings destruction out of anger and justice for the wicked. This imagery underscores God's sovereign power and his willingness to intervene in human affairs, even through violence and conflict, to enforce righteousness.
