Isaiah 22:22

"and I will clothe him with your robe, and strengthen him with your belt. I will commit your government into his hand; and he will be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah."

Key Reflection

This verse foreshadows a future leader who will inherit authoritative power and responsibility. By clothing him in symbolic garments like a robe and belt, and entrusting him with governance, Isaiah envisions a figure who will provide stability and leadership to Jerusalem and Judah, much like a father would guide and protect his children.
