Genesis 26:19

"Isaac dug again the wells of water, which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father, for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham. He called their names after the names by which his father had called them."

Key Reflection

Isaac's act of redigging the wells symbolizes a restoration and continuity of faith, drawing on the spiritual legacy left by his father Abraham. By renaming the wells, Isaac asserts his claim to the same covenant blessings and reaffirms their importance in the ongoing narrative of God’s promise.
