Exodus 8:3

"If you refuse to let them go, behold, I will plague all your borders with frogs."

Key Reflection

This verse illustrates God's judgment and His demand for obedience. By threatening to fill Egypt's borders with frogs, God demonstrates His power over nature, foreshadowing the plagues that would follow if Pharaoh did not comply with His commands.

From the Scholars: Barnes' Notes

Into thine house -This appears to have been special to the plague, as such. It was especially the visitation which would be felt by the scrupulously-clean Egyptians. Kneadingtroughs -Not dough, as in the margin. SeeExodus 12:34.
