Deuteronomy 34:2

"Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is opposite Jericho. The LORD showed him all the land of Gilead to Dan,"

Key Reflection

Moses' ascent to Mount Nebo symbolizes his spiritual journey and ultimate vantage point from which he could see the Promised Land, representing both a fulfillment of God's promise and Moses' inability to enter it due to disobedience. This moment also prefigures Jesus' ascension, where he gains a perspective from heaven that encompasses the full extent of God's plan for salvation on earth.
