Deuteronomy 2:20
"When you come near the border of the children of Ammon, don’t bother them, nor contend with them; for I will not give you any of the land of the children of Ammon for a possession, because I have given it to the children of Lot for a possession.”"
Key Reflection
This command emphasizes that God is preserving the land promised to Lot and his descendants, guiding the Israelites to respect these territories without encroachment. It underscores the divine sovereignty in determining territorial boundaries and the importance of adhering to His directives rather than seeking conflict or gain through conquest.
