Colossians 3:6

"Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry."

Key Reflection

Paul urges the believers to mortify sinful desires and behaviors that belong to the old self, such as sexual immorality, uncleanness, and greed, which are forms of idolatry. By putting these "members" to death, Christians are called to live in accordance with Christ and align their lives with heavenly realities rather than earthly pleasures.
