Acts 19:1

"Acts."

Key Reflection

In Acts 19:1, we read, "While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul, having passed through the upper country, came to Ephesus and found certain disciples." This verse sets the stage for a significant narrative in the book of Acts, highlighting the geographical movement of Paul's ministry. At this point, the text informs us that while another apostle named Apollos had been ministering in Corinth, Paul, having traveled through the region, arrived in Ephesus and encountered disciples who already possessed some knowledge about Christianity but needed further instruction. This context introduces a contrast between incomplete and complete understanding of the faith, setting up the need for Paul to continue spreading and teaching the gospel more fully.
